The biggest winter orienteering event!
Portugal “O” Meeting (POM) is an annual, four-stage forest race held every Carnival holiday. Competition is intense in all classes, and for the world’s best athletes it marks the first major test of the year. The reigning Elite champions are Maiju Oksanen and Uldis Upītis—who will take the crowns in 2026?

Roughly a two-hour drive inland. A perfect add-on to your trip, with its own event on the weekend following POM 2026. WRE in Sátão, very relevant for EOC2028.

General Information
The accommodation offer around Mira is limited. We have booked most of the hotels, hostels and houses to hold places. We will try to accommodate most of the people in Mira county. However some may need to be a little more distant from the Event Center (within 50 km driving distance).

- To confirm reservation of chosen accommodation, full payment is required. Please note that the payer is responsible for all bank fees and charges, when applicable, both in their own country and in Portugal.
